Since I'm still catching up on outfit posts, this baby is from last week when yet another chilly spell rolled through. I can't help but feel cold just looking at these photos—it was so windy! Thankfully, today is absolutely gorgeous. The Jeep top came down, and Cheese & Weim blogger Alexis and I took an ice cream lunch break, because life is better with sprinkles. Happy hump day!

Long time no see, readers! Apologies for my radio silence these days; my computer was on the fritz, but it's back up-and-running now. I wore this outfit for work yesterday and a lunch date with my dad (who snapped these photos). The mid-day break was a rare luxury for us, and nothing beats the Monday blues like disco fries from Burger Bar. If you're ever in South Norwalk, they are a slice of heaven.

Okay, I know I'm about a year too late on my Pantone color reference but this purple blouse was dead-on for radiant orchid (and much more spring appropriate than this year's Marsala if you ask me). Spring has sprung and I couldn't be more excited. Just going for a jog tonight and seeing so many people out chatting and walking their dogs was the most gratifying thing. This past weekend, a friend and I tackled Home Depot (with everyone else in town) and bought some things to spruce our outdoor spaces. I've been posting a whole bunch of porch inspiration on Pinterest if you're looking for some ideas, and sit tight for some DIY posts. Happy hump day!

Hello, spring...And hooray for spring fashion! I've been pinning up a storm, and I thought I'd share my three favorite links for warm-weather style inspiration. Enjoy!

I think this may be it—the last outfit with tights this season. I wore this sweet combo of gray and pale pink to work and an after-hours event this past Thursday, which was unseasonably chilly. After an amazingly gorgeous weekend, I decided spring is here to stay. Tights be damned! Now, there's only the issue of exposing my haven't-seen-sunlight-in-months legs...
My outfit was on-target for the event I attended at The New Traditionalists, coordinating with both my cocktail and the new furniture line (left photo: Instagram // right photo: Instagram).

Friends, take a good long look at this skirt, because you probably won't be seeing it on the blog again. As you know, I'm a huge Maxxinista, but have you ever tried something on and the fit is just off, and you realize that's why it ended up at in a discount store? This was not the case with this skirt, which I wore on this past Monday—sans tights. It wasn't until I washed and dried it (following the directions on the tag, of course), and it shrunk in half, that I realized why it was, in fact, at Marshall's. Le sigh. Thankfully, it was enough of a bargain that I'm not taking too much of a hit at one wear. And since I'm an optimist, I hung it in my closet anyway with the hope that when I pick it up again it will have magically returned to its original size. Wishful thinking, I know. Happy hump day fashionistas!

Happy belated Easter and Passover, friends! Apologies for my radio silence; I got pretty sick this past week and didn't do much besides laze in bed. Luckily, I recovered in time to enjoy my weekend and a nice Easter dinner with my parents. Since it was just the three of us, we kept things low key. My mom made a quiche and ham, and we whipped up some asparagus and a salad, with of course wine and her signature sugar cookies for dessert. Even though we kept things casual, I decided to put on a pastel dress to feel festive. And check out those gams! A day warm enough for bare legs? Swoon.
