Sammydress // Jacket, Asilio // Bag, Zara (with Rim 'N Roll beaded keychain) // Booties, Musse & Cloud.
It seems like no matter what you wear this time of year, half of the day you look inappropriate. On a chilly fall morning, jeans, booties, a jacket and scarf are necessary. But when you run out for lunch mid-day among folks walking around in shorts, you look sweaty and ridiculous. Similarly, if you wear a light dress and jacket on a warm day (like this outfit), it looks great until you leave work after the sun goes down to find the temperature has dropped 20 degrees. Today, I'm wearing jeans with a tank and light scarf and am carrying a jacket in my purse. I think this will do the trick, but I'm pretty sure it will start raining/sleeting/hailing any minute, and I'll go back to looking ridiculous. Help a sister out—any fall layering tricks I need to know??
